Introduction to Squires Kitchen

Squires Kitchen’s International School of Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft is the UK’s leading independent school of cake decorating, attracting students from around the world to attend professional courses.

This world famous school offers a broad range of food and cake decoration courses for all skill levels, suitable for everyone from the complete beginner to the advanced student, from the home cake maker to the professional chef.

Paddi is Squires Kitchen’s senior tutor and is skilled in all areas of sugarcraft. Connections with the British Sugarcraft Guild (BSG)
Members of the British Sugarcraft Guild (BSG) attend demonstration days at Squires Kitchen where they learn to use the latest products and new techniques. The BSG also takes part in the Squires Kitchen’s Annual Cake Decorating, Chocolate and Sugarcraft Exhibition where members host hands-on demonstrations and formal presentations.


Annual competitions
Squires Kitchen also offers sugarcrafters the opportunity to enter their popular cake decorating competitions. These are held at their Annual Cake Decorating, Chocolate and Sugarcraft Exhibition in March each year and are open to students and visitors from the UK and overseas. The competitions cater for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced cake decorators, all with fantastic prizes for the winners sponsored by famous UK industry names.
